The global cannabis community is alive with a whole lot of soul, spirit and an all-prevailing love of the plant. Which is why seed banks like Seedsman exist to keep the gene pool growing strong for future generations.
After a deep dive into cannabis culture Here created a new visual identity and a packaging system reflective of the brand’s personality and professionalism. Overlaying these new sustainable seed pouches were 60 bespoke hand-illustrated stickers, one for each individual seed strain. The result is an identity which balances technical expertise with a subversive flair, a playful celebration of a higher plane of horticulture.
THE WORDMARK
To help Seedsman cultivate the spirit of cannabis globally, we refreshed the logo and redefined the three seed icon.
STICKER – RULE OF THREE
We created over 60 bespoke stickers each with an element of three to represent the three seeds.
STICKER – FINISHES
Each sticker made use of print finishes such as textured varnish, embossing and foils. As well as different substrates to add tactility to the packs.
Using the seed icon as a base, we created a suite of icons to use throughout the brand.
THE PACKS – ECO
In keeping with our studio’s efforts to champion sustainable approaches to design without compromising aesthetic, the pouches are plastic-free and made from renewable materials that are environmentally friendly and compostable.
